Get Started

SunTrax was constructed with astute attention to sustainable construction methods and collaboration through materials, accountability, and transparency to protect and restore Florida’s natural resources.

The manufacturing of products, including carpet tiles, flooring, roofing materials, lighting, and paint, was considered before the construction phase, and select products were used during construction to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Several of the SunTrax buildings were designed to meet the Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC) certification requirements for an energy-efficient sustainable structure, including the Arrival and Conference Building, the Observation Tower, Administration Building, Maintenance Building, and both Workshop Buildings for a total of six FGBC Silver-Certified buildings.
